Help Build the OSCLIP Open Science Instructional Resources Repository

Call for Contributions

We invite you to contribute your instructional resources to a new OSCLIP initiative dedicated to building a comprehensive knowledge bank for open science instruction for library and information professionals. Our goal is to collect, organize, and share high-quality instructional materials that OSCLIP members can use, adapt, and reuse to inform and enhance their own instruction practices.

Why contribute?

  • Amplify your impact: Your materials will help colleagues worldwide inform and enhance their own instruction.
  • Promote collaboration: By sharing proven resources, you foster a culture of openness and continuous improvement in Open Science education.
  • Gain recognition: Your materials will be part of an Open Science Framework (OSF) repository and will be linked to your name and ORCID (if available), allowing for attribution and citation.

What we are seeking

  • Presentation slides
  • Lesson plans
  • Workshop outlines or activity guides
  • Any digital educational material that supports Open Science instruction

How to participate

We welcome contributions from researchers, librarians, instructors, data stewards, and anyone involved in Open Science education across all fields and institutions. At this time, we can only accept English-language materials, as we do not have the capacity to curate materials in other languages.

Please see the Submission Information for additional information and then submit your materials through the Submission Form. Please send your contributions by September 25, 2026 for the first round of consideration. For questions, you can also email the working group.

Let’s work together to make Open Science instruction more accessible, effective, and collaborative!
