1. Pilot Implementation Stipends
- Overview: Build on the momentum of our on-going projects, and to test the suitability of project outcomes for broader adoption, the Pilot Implementation Stipends support OSCLIP members in testing one of our four project prototypes at their home institutions. The four projects are: 1) Resource knowledge base; 2) Case study templates; 3) Instructional resources; 4) Open science key competencies. Find more details about the projects on our OSF repository.
- Funding & Duration: A total of 8 stipends of $1,000 each will be awarded to individuals for their time and effort. The testing period runs for 6 months (November 2026 – April 2027). The selection process will prioritize even distribution across projects.
- What’s Involved: Testers will pilot a prototype (product created from a project), collect qualitative and quantitative feedback on usability and outcomes when possible, and submit a brief written summary report at the end of the project period. Your insights will directly address implementation friction, refine final outputs, and help shape turn-key toolkits for wide adoption across academic libraries. Examples of such a pilot may include: adopting materials from instructional resources repository or resources from the knowledge base; using case study templates to solicit and collect successful examples of open science initiatives; or using the open science key competencies list to improve cross-functional collaboration or professional development.
- Deliverable: Written summary report should be submitted to OSCLIP
- Deadline: October 30, 2026
- How to apply: Fill out this Application Form
2. Travel Stipends for OSCLIP Project Dissemination

This opportunity is open to OSCLIP project contributors or pilot facilitators. Presentations delivered before 7/28/2026 are not eligible.

All presentation formats that are suitable to showcase the project’s process, outcome, or impact are acceptable, such as a poster, panel, oral presentation, or workshop.
